Appreciative Inquiry

Why do it?

Leaderskill Group's Appreciative Inquiry 360 degree feedbackWhat people focus on grows. If you want people to think of positive, innovative ways to move forward, then get them to focus on the positive and the innovative. When people focus on problems, they get into ‘fight/flight’ behaviour, which limits creativity.

What is it?

Get people to focus on what works well already. Where can they extend this? Is there any blockage/challenge left that they still need to work with in a different way?

How do you do it?

Workshops are designed for people at all levels of the organisation. More recent programs have brought together everyone in large spreadout organisations - many of them in virtual groups.

What is the starting point?

Take a situation that you want to change, prepare a topic that addresses it, use this to start the dialogue.

Testimonials

"The Leader/Manager model is very, very good and has benefits well beyond the obvious and advertised purpose. Coachees really value its ‘face validity', its power and ease of use..."

Eddie Paterson FAIM, internal executive coach, telecommunications company, Australia.

“All team members who participated found it easy and commented how well it worked. The process of customising was seamless and perfect. Feedback from all team members has been positive and extremely useful for their future development plans. I have recommended the department continues running the 360 survey..."
