Dylan ForbesDylan Forbes is widely travelled and combines a high level of interpersonal and presentation skills with strong analytical ability and a range of technical skills. Assisting on Leaderskill courses after finishing high school, he went on to graduate in psychology, becoming consultant and director with the company. His professional skills cover these areas:

  • Start-up Mega Planning: instigator and co-developer of Leaderskill Group’s program aimed at fast-tracking business into sustainable practice that will ensure the wellbeing of future generations.

    He co-presented a paper on Planning the Future with Shared Values at the 2003 Conference of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI Sydney), he is co-author of Start-up Mega Planning, published in ISPI's Performance Improvement Quarterly, 2005 and co-author of Creating a Compelling Ideal Vision, published in ISPI's Performance Improvement Quarterly, 2010
  • Facilitating Cross-functional Teams : Dylan extended Leaderskill's methods of facilitation based on the practices of Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry (AI)
  • Training: His teaching methods include experiential and self-directed learning, role-play, one-to-one coaching, small study-groups, lecture and slide presentations, educational tours and creative learning techniques
  • Counselling: training over many years in listening, mediation and problem solving skills, with practical experience in both professional and informal contexts – active listening, assertiveness, communication and conflict resolution. Accredited Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
  • Communication: published editor, skilled in customer service, sales, and development of marketing material. Special skill in sifting through loosely defined and ambiguous situations to reach an accurate assessment of needs
  • Surveys: developing and advising on surveys for Leaderskill's clients including: Change Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Teamwork, Competency Assessment, Climate, and Trust. Also mapping Capability, Competency and Values Frameworks onto the Leader/Manager Model™
  • Research: co-creator of surveys on Change and EI, and preparation of clear and powerful reports, with statistical analysis
