Eagle Consulting Group Ltd is an organisational and management development consultancy operating internationally with a select and prestigious client base.

What's in a name?

The Eagle soars above the world, taking a high level, holistic view before deciding on strategy. Once strategy has been determined, the eagle strikes, taking pragmatic and practical action at ground level where results count. It combines mastery and flexibility on the wing, readily adapting to an ever-changing environment.

We operate our business in the same way, we are:

  • Strategic
  • Pragmatic
  • Flexible and adaptable

What do we offer that's different from the flock?

  • Highly qualified personnel, both in terms of personal academic achievement and experience in the real world of business.
  • International experience. We operate in the global market place. Our skills reflect this.
  • High quality consulting, programmes and learning experiences developed to meet your organisations needs as opposed to "off the shelf" approaches and packages.
  • Links with world-class organisations, products and services.
  • A thorough understanding of traditional and leading edge theory balanced with a pragmatic approach to solutions in the real world.
  • A genuine interest in helping your organisation achieve better returns for shareholders, organisation and staff.

What do we do?

Our services to clients fall into two distinct but often interrelated areas; those of consulting activities, and the development and delivery of a variety of training, development and learning experiences.

Consulting Services we provide include:

  • The development and review of corporate strategy working with CEOs, executive and senior managers. Providing either direct input or facilitation.
  • The development and review of human resource, training and development strategy.
  • Consulting in the above areas to promote and encourage organisational development and culture change.
  • Consulting & advising clients in preparation for & the conduct of important negotiations.
  • All aspects of the training cycle from training needs analysis, development, delivery and evaluation of solutions.

Training Activities:

The breadth of experience of our team enables us to develop and deliver a wide range of generic executive, management, supervisory and staff training programmes. These programmes, listed below, are run in a variety of ways for both groups of personnel and one to one, dependent on client needs.

  • Strategic skills: In this area we have run executive workshops, business planning and marketing strategy programmes. We have also been involved in a number of culture awareness, performance and change management programmes.
  • Leadership skills: We have run many programmes concentrating on empowerment of the workforce through effective leadership.
  • Individual skills: We have delivered time management, problem solving and decision making, presentation skills, stress management, mental coping skills and negotiating skills programmes.
  • Interpersonal management skills: In this vital skill area we have delivered coaching skills, effective meetings, conflict resolution, teambuilding, mentoring, facilitation skills and engagement and assertiveness courses.

We also offer access to a number of programmes and products not readily available in New Zealand:

  • Negotiating skills

We manage New Zealand operations for Scotwork, the world's leading negotiating skills consultancy group. This is a key skill for anyone and this programme is undoubtedly the best there is. Public and one company courses are run throughout New Zealand.

  • The Negotiating Audit®

Many people believe that negotiating skills are something only sales or procurement people need. We believe it to be both a critical business & interpersonal skills. Our research indicates that in many organisations nearly 80% of spending is spent by people with little or no training what so ever ie they are amateurs! The Negotiating Audit has been designed to assist clients quickly and easily identify exactly where their organisations are quite literally bleeding money & to indicate where the best return on investment in skill can be achieved.

  • 'facilitating people through CHANGE at work'

Most "change management" programmes focus on organisational issues and whilst this is crucial, so is enabling your people to cope with the process of change at an individual level. Indeed individual resistance to change is cited as the most common reason for change programmes failing to reach specified objectives. This programme, developed by one of the UK's leading interpersonal skills consultancy practices, will enable your people to adapt and succeed in a climate of change better than anything else we have seen in the market place.

  • 360 Facilitated®

We offer under licence the process that made a significant contribution to the change in British Airways from "Bloody Awful" to "The Worlds Favourite Airline". If you want to achieve significant cultural change, if you want to encourage openness and trust in your organisation, you should talk to us about this process. Make no mistake this is not upward appraisal. It will create the right climate for it, it can be used to enhance the performance of your current upward appraisal system, or it can replace it with a more positive and open approach.
