Requirements for online surveys:

Requirements are minimal:

1. Browser: minimum of Windows Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 6 or browsers of equivalent capability. Older versions may be compatible.

2. Access: each respondent should have:

  • Private and uninterrupted access to an online terminal for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the questionnaire. One dedicated computer can be shared with a number of respondents
  • Minimal computer literacy
  • Basic command of the survey language (English or other)
  • Basic competence in handling confidential email
  • Intranets: our online system has been used in intranet environments as secure as Australian Defence and Boeing. We also provide our software to install locally if requested.
